A POLICE investigation has been launched following an attempted armed robbery in Kendray on Wednesday.
It’s reported that at around 8pm on Birk Avenue, two men wearing white clothing entered a convenience store brandishing a knife and demanding the victim open the till.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “The suspects left the store empty handed and enquiries to find those responsible are ongoing.
“No-one was injured during the incident.
“Anyone with information is asked to get in touch online, via live chat or by calling 101 quoting incident number 607 of February 14, 2024.”
