ADDITIONAL frontline staff are being brought in by Yorkshire Ambulance Service to cope with the significant increased demand since the start of the year.
At a meeting of the trust's board, members said they were working hard to address the challenges and make improvements for the benefit of patients.
Chairman Della Cannings said: "Our focus remains on better management of the high demand and configuration of our operational cover and, as part of an on-going programme, we are increasing our accident and emergency workforce which will see additional frontline staff joining the trust over the next three months."

Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
