ARTIST Tony Faulkner has turned the window of his gallery into a special exhibition space - to show off his skills live to passing shoppers.

Tony fulfilled two ambitions in one in December when he opened his own art studio and gallery.

Craft Works in The Arcade has a studio upstairs and an art gallery on the ground floor.

But over recent weeks Tony has taken to sitting in the gallery window as he creates his work of art and that has led ot shoppers pausing to stop and and watch.

Several have even been so impresed with the skills on display that they have walked into the gallery and bought a painting.

Tony, from Wilthorpe, often paints at festivals, his work had adorned pub walls and restaurants around Yorkshire and he has completed portraits, abstract art and done commercial and domestic artwork and other types of commissions.
