THE results are in and the winners have been announced to reveal the best night time venues in Barnsley.
Barnsley Best Bar None overall winner is Joseph Bramahs, with Chennells named by the judges for commendation for improvement and the judges' commendation for outstanding effort going to Surf, Wellington Street.
Manager Ben Dixon said: "This is the second year in a row we've come top of our category and won overall with distinction. I couldn't be more happy."
The Barnsley Best Bar None is part of the national scheme that promotes better standards in the nighttime economy.
The late night venue was won by Rios, Wellington Street, with Hush, Shambles Street, is second place and Wildcats, Wellington Street, in third.
Winner of the best pub was Walkabout, with the White Bear in second place and the Silkstone Inn in third.Best bar winner was Joseph Bramahs, Surf was second and in third place Blue Rooms.
