A BABY boy born with a rare condition had a five hour operation to remove parts of his skull, to allow his brain to grow.
Tony Morris and Sam Sokell had no idea their son Arron had the condition craniosynostosis - which affects one in every 2,000 births - until he was born.
It caused sections of Arron's skull to fuse together, stunting the growth of his brain and causing his forehead and other areas of his head to bulge to compensate.
On June 10, at the age of five months, Arron had an operation at Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool to remove and reshape parts of his skull - during which he had to have a blood transfusion.
