HANNAH Eatwell has not had her hair cut for more than five years - but she's shaving the lot off for charity.

The 22-year-old from Standhill Crescent, New Lodge, decided to embark on the charity stunt to raise money in memory of her granddad Terence Hebden.

Terence, aged 79, died from leukaemia three weeks ago. So security worker Hannah said if she could get £250 of sponsorship for the leukaemia and lymphoma charity she would happily lose her hair.

Then her friend Kimberly Peake, from Broadway, got involved and decided to turn it into a fund-raising spectacular.

That will be staged on Wednesday April 30 in the Courthouse pub on Regent Street.

Not only will Hannah be losing all her hair, but her friends Matty Coldwell and Joe Copley are both having a full body wax after collecting more than £1,500 sponsorship. Another friend, Alex Forrest, is dyeing his hair pink for a month.
