SINGER Danielle Williams has released a single remixed by dance music wizards Soulshaker which she hopes could be a number one hit.

Danielle, who lives in Hoyland with her long-term boyfriend, Barnsley FC player Jim O'Brien, records under the name Danni G.

She formerly worked as a Katy Perry tribute act among other jobs in the entertainment industry, and was picked up by songwriter Joanne Jennison, who had seen her online last year.

Joanne asked her to sing her song Party Time and it was used on a Nintendo Wii video game in America.

Now it as been remixed by Soulshaker, which has remixed for stars including Nicole Sherzinger and Mary J Blige, it could be a major break for Danielle.

Part of the music video has been filmed in Rio's Nightclub, Wellington Street.

"The feedback has just been phenomenal," said Danielle.

"We've heard back from Pacha Nightclub in Ibiza, and they said they could see it going to number one.

"It's just been amazing. I was doing the Katy Perry tribute, they found me online and said 'can you come and record this song' and it's just escalated from there really. I've had to give up my job."
