Jordan Clark has made two substitute's appearance for Conference bottom side Hyde United since joining them for a month's loan on Friday.

The 20-year-old midfielder from Hoyland – whose Oakwell contract runs out in June – came on after 75 minutes on Saturday with Hyde 3-2 up at home to Lincoln before the visitors won 4-3.

He managed 31 minutes in a 1-1 draw at Tamworth on Tuesday which gave the Lancashire side, who have won once this season, their eighth point in 32 games.

Former Kirk Balk pupil Clark was very highly-rated in his academy days – with Barnsley fighting off Manchester City for his services and giving him two professional contracts – but he has not added to his one first team start and six substitute's appearances since August 2012.

This is his third loan after brief spells at Scunthorpe and Chesterfield in League Two.
