MARRIED dancers Ken and Helen Wilby waltzed away with three prizes between them at a dance competition.
Though they danced with different partners, Ken won the classical sequence and came third in the modern sequence step in the competition in Whitby organised by the UK Alliance.
Warehouse operative Ken 47, of Alderson Drive, Smithies, said they entered the competition in Whitby after taking up dancing together.
"Helen had danced when she was younger and tried to get me to take it up, so I took the plunge about four years ago.
"We have lessons every week and enter various dance competitions. The first time I entered a competition was the UK nationals last year. I got to the final but lost out."
