CUDWORTH woman Carol Wojnicki is going all out to raise money for leukaemia and lymphoma research.
Carol, 56, of Sunningdale Drive, has just done the 5k race for Life at Thornes Park in Wakefield and has also raised £1,000 from a swishing event at Staincross working men's club.
Carol started fund-raising after she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma for the second time.
She said: "I plan to keep raising money for cancer charities because the funding is so important for the research work.
"It will enable more and better treatments for everybody diagnosed with cancer to have a better fighting chance to deal with this disease and hopefully to live their lives to the full."
The money raised will go to the Barnsley branch of the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
