Teenage Reds star Paul Digby will fly to Dallas at the end of the season to continue his recovery from a knee injury.

Digby will spend a month at the Michael Johnson Sprint School in Dallas, USA, at the end of the season for a special training camp. He has missed all of this season with a knee injury which has been put down to growing pains.

Boss David Flitcroft said: “Paul has lost a season and you only get 15. I think the average is eight or nine. I wouldn’t want to put him in for the last two or three games of the season but he’ll come back in pre-season absolutely firing.

“It’ll do him great in Dallas during the off-season and he’ll work on dynamic movement. We’re excited about it and he’ll come back stronger.”
