A BOXING club that has served the community of Hoyle Mill for over 20 years could be forced to relocate after suffering a third flood.

Hoyle Mill Amateur Boxing Club, based in the old chapel on Pontefract Road, was flooded two weeks ago as a result of heavy rain.

It is currently still being cleaned up by boxers and coaches at the gym.

Head coach Frank Lindley, 65, who lives nearby on Pontefract Road, said that the club is now desperate to find a new home after 23 years.

He said: "It is soul destroying when it happens and I think this is the worst one yet. I only charge the lads £3 a week to train here so it's not as if we can afford the clean up or to move into a flash new gym."
