DRY stone waller Gary Helliwell hopes to show his handiwork to millions after creating a unique bike ahead of the Tour de France.
The 48-year-old, chairman of the South Yorkshire Dry Stone Walling Association, worked with fellow members to construct the ten tonne wall.
It will be displayed close to the finish line of the Yorkshire section of the cycle race in Sheffield on Sunday July 6.
"The Tour de France was going ahead and it just clicked that we should do something," said Gary, of Skinpit Lane, Hoylandswaine."It's just something completely different, I imagine on the day there will be quite a lot of interest."
The wall is made from Yorkshire sandstone, taken from Hillside Quarry in Thurlstone, with the bike constructed using recycled millstones and slate.
