A young Hoyland skater is dreaming of success at this year's British Ice Skating Championships after being inspired by the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi.
Summer Herbert, 14, is focussing on competing in the Junior Ladies division in this year's International Judging Competition (IJC) to be held from August 25 to 29 at iceSheffield.
She will need to qualify at this year's IJC to be able to progress to the British Championships in November.
Summer starts training at 7am for up to six hours a day at iceSheffield, in the hope that she will be able to secure a place in the British Championships.
