TRADERS have been plying their wares on Barnsley Arcade since 1861 and now a new venture has taken the shopping experience in that part of town back in time to the very beginning.

Situated in Frank Bird's former premises, Timeless, incorporating Singing in the Rain, is a must visit venue forvintage lovers and crafters.

Robert Owen, 52, and his wife Amanda , 51, look after the downstairs selling everything from pre -loved clothing and memorabilia to shabby chic and antique furniture.

Upstairs is the domain of seamstress and interior designer Kath Nugent.

Robert is offering local craft people an opportunity to rent space in the shop to show off their wares.

Upstairs Kath, 63 is offering lessons and workshops to dress makers of all abilities passing on skills such a sewing, knitting, crocheting, card making ,scrap booking, sugar craft, patchwork, quilting, and rag rugging.
