A KITTEN born without a foot and another with a broken leg are just two of the abandoned felines who need new homes which are being looked after by the RSPCA.

The Barnsley branch of the animal charity has 31 kittens and 12 cats being looked after by cat co-ordinator, Jackie Siddall.

She said: "We are beyond capacity and cannot take any more. It comes round every year and you think it won't be as bad next year but it is."Jackie said there are two kittens in particular, Suki and Ella, who need special treatment.

She said vet's bills are expected to be about £1,000 for each kitten and hoping people may be able to donate towards treatment costs.
