LAST ditch attempts to save Ardsley House from closure have failed with the hotel set to close in two weeks.
The hotel's former owner Forestdale Hotels went into administration and the company was bought out by St James's Hotel Group which announced there would be a review to assess whether keeping it open would be viable.
Sean Brookes, group operations director at St James's Hotel Group revealed the review was complete and the news wasn't good. He concluded that there is no alternative but to close the hotel.
