A BARNSLEY mum is fundraising to pay for therapy that helps repair damaged brain cells and could help her daughter's speech improve.
Emily Unwin, seven, suffers from Goldenhar Syndrome - a congenital birth defect which involves deformities of the face - and has had numerous problems since she was born including epilepsy, global development delay and hypermobility.Her mother Louise, 32, of Litton Walk, Barnsley, is raising vital funds to send her for therapy where specific exercises will help increase the amount of oxygen to Emily's brain."Emily's had problems since she was born, they are still trying to find a diagnosis.
