A CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with a reported burglary at Dearne Valley College has been released by police.
At around 2.30pm on Tuesday, it was reported a man had gone into the canteen area at the college, on Manvers Park, Swinton, and stole a quantity of cash from the till before making off.
An investigation has been launched into the incident and officers have been reviewing CCTV and making enquiries in the area.
A police spokesman said: “Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image, or has any information, is asked to report it to officers.”
Anyone with information is asked to report it either via 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 480 of November 14.
