Dale Jennings says his stunning goal at Reading on Tuesday night was not the best of his career.
The 21-year-old winger netted from 30 yards for his second Barnsley goal but insists he registered more spectacular strikes for Tranmere Rovers before moving to Bayern Munich.
"I have scored better goals for Tranmere but this one's obviously up there," Jennings told the Chronicle.
"I just got the ball and decided to hit it. As soon as it left my foot I knew it was going into the top corner. It was better than my goal against Forest (his other strike for the Reds) because the 'keeper had no chance."
Jennings says his goal was the best of the game despite another fine effort from Reuben Noble-Lazarus four minutes earlier. He said: "We'll be debating about which was better. I think mine was but it was great for Reuben to play and score. No one expected us to come to Reading and get a result. To win 3-1 is massive for our confidence.
"We need to take that into the Yeovil game (tomorrow). It will be a different one from Reading. It will be more scrappy but we are ready for that."
