Barnsley finished their pre-season without a win as they drew 1-1 at home to local rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Danny Rose gave the Reds the lead on 30 minutes then Kieran Lee levelled just after the break after Adam Davies spilled a routine Gary Madine shot.

Davies also made a fine save from Chris Maguire while Rose missed several other chances and summer signing Sam Winnall also went close several times.

James Bailey picked up an injury in the warm-up and was replaced in the starting line-up by Brad Abbott.
