Nick Proschwitz scored twice, including a late equaliser, as Barnsley drew 2-2 at local rivals Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
The German made it three goals in four games during his loan from Hull when he fired in on 89 minutes after great work from strike partner Chris O'Grady.
Proschwitz put the Reds ahead on 27 minutes after a mistake by Rovers' 'keeper Sam Johnstone but an error by Barnsley stopper Luke Steele allowed the hosts back in the game in first half stoppage time through James Coppinger who then got a second via a big deflection on 56 minutes.
There was plenty of debate over the performance of referee Andy D'urso who did not give Rovers a penalty when their former player Martin Woods felled James Husband in the box. Martin Cranie then had a goal ruled out after heading in a Woods corner. Both those incidents were at 1-0.
Steele made some good saves from long-range shots but struggled to catch any crosses and Jordan Bowery should have punished at least two of his errors.
Doncaster played the better football but Barnsley also had chances as Johnstone tipped over a Proschwitz shot then Peter Ramage hit the bar with a powerful header.
Danny Wilson's men are still second-bottom in the Championship, eight points adrift of safety although they have two games in hand on the sides just above the bottom three.
