Barnsley reached the fifth round of the FA Cup after a scrappy 1-0 win against Hull City at the KC Stadium.

Chris Dagnall scored for the Reds in the second half after Jim O'Brien and Scott Golbourne had seen their earlier efforts saved.

Hull dominated the first half but failed to score and the game was much more even after the break, although both sides created few chances.

The recalled Bobby Hassell was the star man for Barnsley at the back, while Tom Kennedy produced another reliable display.

Afterwards, David Flitcroft said he didn't care who is side came up against in the last 16 while Hull boss Steve Bruce said he had 'bigger fish to fry' after his team's exit.
