A PENSIONER who died in a car crash in Royston has been named.
Pauline Elizabeth Dickinson, 69, Kirkcross Crescent, Royston, was a passenger in an Audi A4 which hit a wall near the junction of Royston Lane and Church Hill at about 12.20pm on Monday.
Police said the driver, Mrs Dickinson's husband aged 70, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition yesterday was described by police as stable.
An inquest was opened and adjourned yesterday (Thursday.)
