HOLY Trinity pupils are hoping to fund a trip to Romania where they will work with orphans and in a hospice for children with terminal and life-limiting illnesses.
The year ten pupils plan on travelling to Romania in October where they will be volunteers for British-based charity 'Cry in the Dark'.
The week-long trip will involve them working with child and adult orphans with severe mental and physical illnesses and in the Casa Lumina hospice.
The cost of the trip is £750 per student with students and parents paying £200 and the remaining £550 is to be funded by the young people themselves by doing fund-raising activities as part of their Archbishop of York Youth Award.
