HE has already won fans all over America now sci-fi fan Alex Dodson is in talks with the Chinese over his iconic hand crafted log burners and patio heaters.
So great is the international interest in his creations one customer in the USA has just ordered 30 patio heaters and says it is only his first of what will be many more orders.
Alex, a 34-year-old technology teacher from Darton, created his first piece last October shortly after he bought some welding equipment.
He came up with a way of 'upcycling' old gas bottles and transformed the boring metal cylinder into a wood-burning stove to look like Darth Vader of Star Wars.
