COMPLEMENTARY therapist Diane Gledhill-Cragg put herself in the shop window - literally - to raise money for the hospice.

Diane set up to do manicures in the window of the Eldon Street shop as part of its 21st birthday last Wednesday.

The shop opened a year before the hospice, which is celebrating its 20th birthday this year, as a fundraising office.

Customers were invited to join volunteers and staff to experience a taster of some of the complementary services the hospice provides for patients with life limiting illnesses.

Donations on the day raised £80, enough to provide manicures for up to 11 patients and carers.
