A DISABLED boy whose wheelchair was stolen from outside his home has had it returned to him after an appeal in last week's Chronicle.

Angry mum Rachel Wrigley was pictured with her upset son Regan Archer, 11, last week after the chair was taken from Oak Road, Thurnscoe.

But a lady who found the chair also spotted the story in the paper and took it to Goldthorpe Police Station, and Regan got it back this week.

"He's over the moon," said Rachel. "I'm really grateful to the lady, and to the paper. It shows there are still some good people about."
