A TEACHER high on cocaine who attacked two bouncers has been banned from the classroom for life.

Suzanne Lee, 36, was working at Darton College when she was arrested for assaulting two door staff at a Sheffield night club in April 2015.

The design technology teacher, who was found to be in possession of 1.3 grammes of cocaine and tested positive for the drug while in police custody, was convicted of two counts of common assault/battery at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court last October.

She was also convicted of possession of a Class A drug and fined a total of £375 plus costs, and ordered to pay £80 compensation to the two victims.

The Chronicle understands Lee didn’t teach again at Darton College following the incident and was suspended, resigning with immediate effect.
