The British Boxing Board of Control have named Brampton's Josh Wale, 25, the mandatory challenger for the English super-bantamweight title.

Current champion James Dickens from Liverpool will either have to defend against Wale before the end of May or vacate the title for Wale to challenge for it.

Wale is set for a warm-up fight at the Barnsley Metrodome on March 7. An opponent is yet to be decided upon but he will be from overseas.
