STAFF at a Barnsley nursery are set to take part in a hair raising experience and all in a very good cause.

The girls from Little Jo's Day Nursery in Doncaster Road are taking part in a 10k walk, jog, run around Newmillerdam on September 14 to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

And each and every one of 'em will be wearing a wacky wig.

The nursery's managing director Marina Jackson explained why they chose MacMillan: "We are doing this to help our very good friend and colleague Lisa Booth, who has recently being diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

"Lisa has begun her chemotherapy, but whilst she is feeling well, has decided to do as much as she can to raise money for the charity who have already provided her with tremendous support."
