A YOUNG woman who is trying for a baby has set up a group for people who experience fertility problems.

Caroline Poskitt, 30, was diagnosed with polycystic ovaries - a condition making it difficult to conceive - when she was 18. She has been trying for a baby with her husband for about six years.

She said the group was was open to anyone experiencing problems or symptoms and was a place where people could chat and support each other.

Caroline, of Ollerton Road, Athersley North, said: "I lost my hair, put on weight and had really bad pain which were symptoms, but also probably a bit of stress because of what my body was going through."

The first meeting will be held at the Cup and Cake Bar on Peel Street from 5.45pm on August 28. E-mail carolinepozo92@gmail.com for more information.
