MORE water quality improvement works are being carried out in Barnsley as part of a £7 million investment in the pipe network.
Yorkshire Water's contractors Balfour Beatty are at Pogmoor Road to complete the final phase of work.
The work involves digging an excavation outside the Jet filling station near to the junction of West Road and another excavation at the junction of Westmoor Crescent.
Additional preparatory work will be carried out on Dodworth Road between the junction of Broadway and the M1 Roundabout. This will be carried out on Sundays only, on April 6, 13 and 27.
