A 20-YEAR-OLD florist has expanded and opened her second shop in the town centre.

Stephanie Tue, from South Hiendley, took over the lease of Pickerings on Peel Street last week from her former college tutor.

She already runs Stephanotis Florist at Rob Royd Farm Shop on Genn Lane.

She opened Stephanotis in January 2013 after devoting two years to learning the art of floristry and won the Young Florist of the Year silver gilt at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2012 for her design of a chandelier to mark the Queen's jubilee.

She has not entered the competition this year after taking over Pickerings and says there are no plans to expand further: "I'll just be taking over the one shop, that's enough to be getting on with."
