SWING Dancers have teamed up with a town centre bar to run events for those interested in 50s music and swing dance.
Dave Doyle and Krissy Moore, who run Upbeat Swing Dance weekly classes for adults at the Kim Frost School of Dance on Langdale Road are launching the Soho Swing-Out at the Soho Music Institute on Shambles Street.
They aim to introduce Barnsley people to swing dance and rockabilly styles.
“We want to share our hobby with the wider community,” said Dave.
“Of course, if dancing isn’t your thing then you’re still welcome to come and enjoy some brilliant music.”
The first Soho Swing-Out will take place from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, June 30.
