LOCAL MP and Sheffield City Region Mayor Dan Jarvis opened a new travel agency in Mapplewell.
The Barnsley Central MP opened Stonehouse Travel Agency on Blacker Road, Mapplewell. He said: “I was delighted to declare Stonehouse Travel open for business at their official ceremony last Friday.
“I am always pleased to support new, independent businesses that are growing in Barnsley. It’s vitally important that we do more to support our new business start-ups to grow our local economies.
“I am confident that Stonehouse Travel will do well at their Mapplewell base. Mapplewell is a vibrant village with a real community spirit that is going from strength to strength at the moment.”
