Joey Barton has pleaded not guilty to causing actual bodily harm to then Barnsley head coach Daniel Stendel.
The Fleetwood Town manager appeared at Barnsley Magistrates' Court this afternoon. He is next due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on November 6.
He is accused of injuring Stendel in the tunnel at Oakwell following Fleetwood's 4-2 loss to Barnsley on April 13. Stendel left Barnsley yesterday.
