Winger Jordan Green has joined League Two Newport County on loan for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old winger joined the Reds from Yeovil Town a year ago and has made 12 appearances, ten from the substitutes bench, while he scored in the 3-0 win at Southend United in March.

This season he has made just two appearances off the bench in arguably the Reds' worst games, the 3-1 loss at home to Luton Town in August and the 5-1 thrashing at Preston North End on October 5.

Green, who played 16 games on loan to Newport from Bournemouth in 2016, has a contract with the Reds until the summer of next year. He is the second player to be loaned out with window after Cameron McGeehan who joined Portsmouth last week and started in their win over AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
