FOUR fire crews rushed to a pond to pull a stricken man from its ice-cold waters.
Firefighters from Barnsley, Cudworth, Aston Park and Edlington were called to reports of a man stranded in Tinkers, Wilthorpe, at 11.48pm on Sunday.
Upon arrival they found a man in distress in the water trying to swim to safety.
