TWO town centre burglars have been handed suspended prison sentences.
Craig Smith, 30, of Honeywell Street, Honeywell, and Aaron Cowles, 31, of Denby Way, Rotherham, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday each charged with one count of commercial burglary and one count of attempted burglary.
Both pleaded guilty and were sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for one year, and ordered to wear tags.
A 21-year-old woman has also been charged in connection with the incidents, which occurred last Monday.

Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
