Barnsley will begin their 2020/21 Championship season at home to Luton Town on September 12.

The Reds – who battled against Luton in last season's relegation fight – will then visit Reading the following Saturday.

Should fans be allowed back in stadiums in reduced numbers in October as the government hopes, the first match they see could be against Bristol City on October 17.

Their derbies against Sheffield Wednesday are on March 20 at Oakwell and December 12 at Hillsborough while the Christmas week sees them face Yorkshire derbies at home to Huddersfield Town on Boxing Day and then at Rotherham United three days later.

The Easter weekend will see them host Reading then visit Luton. The final game of the season on May 8 will be at home to Norwich City.
