A POLICE pursuit throughout the borough came to a grinding halt in Wombwell with the arrest of two men.
On Tuesday at around 11pm, police were alerted to a white Ford Transit van which had previously been reported stolen as it failed to stop for officers.

“The police officer inside the car suffered minor injuries.
“The pursuit is understood to have concluded in the Bradberry Balk Lane area, with the occupants of the van fleeing the scene.
“Two people, a 21-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
“They are currently in police custody. Enquiries are ongoing.”
