Young guitar, drum and singing fans can win fantastic prizes worth almost £200 in a competition in next week's Chronicle.

Richard Quinn School of Drums and Andy Stocks Guitar School in Barnsley are offering one lucky person a top prize worth £125 - a free place at their legendary summer camp.

The summer camp from Monday August 19 to August 23 is a week's programme for guitar and drum students.

It's an awesome package - 15 hours of tuition, recording time in the drum and guitar school's studio (with finished CD), the chance to shoot a music video, a band photo-shoot and a live showcase gig in September at a top local venue.

Richard said: "Each student is put into a band with students of similar age and ability. They rehearse cover versions of popular songs and shoot their own music video after a recording session in our studio. It's a brilliant chance to network with other musicians."

The summer camp runs from 9am to midday at the drum and guitar school on Doncaster Road and is open to students aged ten to 15. Places are now selling fast.

To be in with a chance of winning, all entrants have to do is answer a simple question in next week's Chronicle. There will also be a great second prize of a free drum or guitar lesson, and a third prize of guitar strings.

Look out for it!
