A TOTAL of 15 fixed penalty notices were handed to residents across Barnsley who were breaching Covid restrictions last weekend.
Officers across the borough issued the £200 fines to residents - with one fine being presented to people who were having a house party.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “We attended numerous breaches and had to issue 15 £200 fixed penalty notices and some warning letters.
“One incident involved eight people having a house party.”
