POLICE have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing elderly man from Hoyland.
Neville Fearson, of the South Lea Avenue area, was last seen at around 10.30am today (January 13).
The 80-year-old is believed to be wearing a black cap, a dark green coat and black trousers.
He does not have a mobile phone.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “He is described as being five feet and ten inches tall, of thin build, clean shaven, with fair hair and is wearing glasses.
“It is thought that Neville may be trying to walk to the Thorpe Hesley area of Rotherham.
“His family are growing increasingly concerned.”
