DAN Jarvis has urged residents to get their coronavirus vaccine at the ‘earliest possible opportunity’ after he received his first dose.
The Barnsley Central MP received his first vaccine at the Sheffield Arena site, and has thanked staff for their work.
He told the Chronicle: “Last week I received the first dose of my Covid vaccination at the Sheffield Arena.
“I want to thank our wonderful NHS staff and the amazing army of volunteers for their incredibly important work.
“This is an effective, safe and reliable vaccine and our surest route back to normality.
“I encourage everyone to get their vaccine at the earliest possible opportunity.”
