MORE than 80 per cent of adults in Barnsley have had at least their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
Since the start of the vaccination programme in December, almost 170,000 residents have had their first dose of either Pfizer or AstraZeneca - an 82 per cent uptake.
More than 130,000 people in the town are now fully vaccinated against the virus - a 64.1 per cent uptake.
