DARFIELD residents who campaigned for almost two years following the closure of the village Post Office can rest easy following the opening of a new site.
The new Post Office is located at Snape Hill Convenience Store, on Snape Hill Road, just 90 metres from the old one which closed in November 2019.
Open 78 hours a week, the new office offers much-missed services including special delivery, ‘Local Collect’, online banking, bill payment and travel-related services.
The opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8.30pm and Sunday, 10am to 1pm.
