THE latest part of the town centre Glass Works redvelopment was unveiled on Thursday.
Mayor, Coun Caroline Makinson cut the ribbon and said said the new shopping and leisure destination was ‘just the beginning’ of great things to come for the town centre.
More attractions in the £200m Glass Works will be opening over the next six months but Thursday’s event marked the official opening of stores such as Next, Sports Direct and TK Maxx.
Restaurants, bars, a bolwing alley and multi-screen cinema are due to open shortly.
