A BAND has reworked a famous Beatles album cover featuring 56 Barnsley ‘celebrities’.The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican have produced an album of songs about Barnsley, including The Ballad of Kipper Jackson, and Tarnlife, a based on the Blur hit Parklife. In a nod to the Beatles 1967 album Sgt Pepper’s Lonely hearts Club Band, they’ve called their album Cpl Kipper’s Barnsley Trades Club Turn.
